1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using HisabKitab you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. The service
HisabKitab provides digital ledger tools for business record-keeping (contacts, transactions, bills, stock, reminders). Features may change as we improve the product.
3. Accounts
- You must provide a valid phone number you control.
- You are responsible for safeguarding OTP codes, passwords, and device access.
- You must be legally able to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction (generally 18+).
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Abuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the API or app.
- Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or data.
- Use the service for unlawful activity or to store illegal content.
- Send spam or abusive messages using features that open WhatsApp/SMS.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of business data you enter. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and back up that data solely to operate HisabKitab for you. You are responsible for the accuracy of your ledger entries.
6. No professional advice
HisabKitab is a record-keeping tool. It is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. Verify figures before making business decisions.
7. Availability
We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Offline queues help when connectivity is poor; sync depends on network and account status.
8. Fees
Current public releases may be free. We may introduce paid plans later; any pricing will be shown clearly in the app or store listing before charge.
9. Intellectual property
The HisabKitab name, logos, and app software are our intellectual property (or licensed to us). You may not copy or redistribute them except as allowed by the app stores.
10. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for data loss arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 3 months before the claim.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app and request account deletion at any time via Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create security risk.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes.
